The Full Virginia Mixture uses the same 100% Bright Virginia leaf as the Flake family but takes a different path to get there: cold pressed for three weeks before being stoved, then presented as a ribbon cut rather than a flake. The cold pressing and stoving process develops the leaf differently than the hot pressing used on the Full Virginia Flake, producing a somewhat lighter character while retaining the natural sweetness and depth of pure Virginia tobacco. The ribbon cut also makes it more immediately accessible than the flake, requiring less preparation before packing. No flavorings, no additives. Ribbon cut. Medium in strength.
