Matt Booth's Johnny Tobacconaut first showed up in 2015 as a limited Unobtanium release with the kind of whimsical sci-fi branding Room101 is known for, an all-Nicaraguan blend rolled at the Camacho factory in Honduras. When the brand moved to Forged Cigars, the blend shifted to mostly Nicaraguan tobacco under an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, produced by A.J. Fernandez in Nicaragua, where it has stayed ever since. The Maduro arrived at PCA 2026 as the next chapter, trading the lighter Connecticut wrapper for a dark, oily Nicaraguan leaf and pushing the entire blend toward full body. The result is a Nicaraguan puro from wrapper to filler, produced once again by A.J. Fernandez. Three sizes, Robusto, Toro, and Gordo, in 20-count boxes. Full in body. Made at Tabacalera A.J.
