Black Diamond is the fourth installment in J.C. Newman's Diamond Crown line, developed over three years by Eric and Bobby Newman working directly with Carlos Fuente Sr. and Carlos Fuente Jr. What sets it apart from its siblings is the source of its tobacco: filler and binder leaves grown exclusively for this blend on the Fuente family's Chateau de la Fuente farm, the same estate that produces tobacco for Fuente Fuente OpusX. The wrapper is a Connecticut Havana seed leaf, sun grown and aged, with an added double fermentation that deepens the color and smooths out any rawness in the leaf. The wrapper is aged Connecticut Havana seed, over Dominican binder and filler grown on the Chateau de la Fuente estate. Three sizes, 20-count boxes. Full in body. Made at Tabacalera A.
