The Essence Series is Ernesto Perez Carrillo's ongoing project of showcasing single-region or single-country tobacco, with each release built to highlight the character of a specific growing area rather than blending it into the background. The Honduras entry is the first E.P. Carrillo cigar rolled at Plasencia's Tabacos de Oriente factory in Honduras, and the second Carrillo cigar ever made in Honduras overall. The wrapper is the Olancho San Agustín leaf, grown in the OSA Valley of Honduras at elevations that impart a distinct mineral richness to the tobacco. Honduran binder accompanies it, with filler drawing from both Honduras and Nicaragua. Medium in body. Made at Tabacos de Oriente in Honduras.
