The Cuba Aliados Original Blend is the everyday production line that Oliva commissioned when they acquired the brand in 2021, and the choice of factory was not arbitrary. Julio Eiroa of JRE Tobacco was the man Rolando Reyes Sr. sourced leaf from during the Honduras years, making him about as close to a natural custodian of the blend as anyone still working. Oliva's stated aim was to recreate the character of the cigars Reyes made in Cuba, which is why the blend is a Honduran puro despite the fact that Reyes himself famously had no use for Honduran tobacco for most of his career. Wrapper, binder, and filler all come from Honduran tobacco grown in the Jamastran Valley at the Eiroa family farms. Five sizes, 20-count boxes. Medium to full in body. Made at the Fabrica de Puros Aladino S.A. factory in Danlí, Honduras.
