Cofredia Fino 2

By Bolivar

The Bolivar name dates to 1901, honoring Simón Bolívar, the Venezuelan general who led independence movements across six South American nations in the early nineteenth century. The brand carried Cuban prestige through most of the twentieth century before the non-Cuban rights passed through several hands. Scandinavian Tobacco Group quietly relaunched it in 2020 under their Forged Cigar Company division, assigning the blend to industry veteran Estélo Padrón. The Cofradia is built at the HATSA factory in Danlí, Honduras, combining Honduran and Nicaraguan long-leaf filler in a Connecticut Broadleaf binder, finished with an oily Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. Medium to full in body. Handmade in Honduras.
