The Hemingway series has been in continuous production since Carlos Fuente Sr. introduced it in 1983, reviving Cuban perfecto shapes his father Arturo had worked with decades earlier. The Signature Maduro is a Grand Corona perfecto at 6 x 46, the middle proportion in the standard lineup, dressed in a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper in place of the traditional Cameroon. The Broadleaf contributes additional body and a heavier character than the natural version in the same proportion, making it the fuller of the two Signature options. Released in limited quantities seasonally. Handmade in the Dominican Republic.
