The Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente series takes its name from Chateau de la Fuente, the family's private estate in the Dominican Republic where the tobacco is grown and every cigar is aged before being wrapped in the signature cedar sleeve. The Royal Salute Sungrown is the same Double Corona at 7.625 x 54 as the natural, dressed instead in an Ecuadorian sun grown wrapper that contributes a darker, fuller character than the Connecticut Shade of the natural version. Grown under direct sun rather than shade cloth, the Ecuadorian leaf develops thicker, more complex leaf with a deeper color and additional body. Aged Dominican binder and filler. Boxes of ten. Handmade in the Dominican Republic.
