The Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva is the foundational line of the family brand, built on four generations of accumulated knowledge about Dominican tobacco and how to age and roll it. The Churchill Seleccion d'Oro is a 7.25 x 48, one of the more stately proportions in the Gran Reserva lineup and a size that gives the blend considerable room to develop across its length. The d'Oro designation refers to the golden Connecticut Shade wrapper, a thin, silky leaf grown under cloth tents in the Connecticut River Valley that produces a mild, creamy character notably lighter than the Cameroon wrapped versions in the same line. Aged Dominican binder and filler, aged in Spanish cedar vaults before release. Handmade in the Dominican Republic.
