The Arturo Fuente Gran Reserva is the foundational line of the family brand, built on four generations of accumulated knowledge about Dominican tobacco and how to age and roll it. The Rothschilde takes its name from the classic petite robusto shape, a short, wide cigar at 4.5 x 50 with origins in nineteenth century European smoking culture. The proportions concentrate the blend and deliver a full expression of the tobacco in a shorter smoke than the longer vitolas in the line. The construction is the same aged Dominican binder and filler under African Cameroon wrapper that defines the Gran Reserva across all its sizes, aged in Spanish cedar vaults before release. The Cameroon wrapper contributes its characteristic mild natural sweetness and fine, toothy texture. Handmade in the Dominican Republic.
