English Aromatic

Reverie is the aromatic entry in the Serenity Series, the four blend line developed by William Serad in collaboration with Cornell and Diehl. Where Consolation is a straightforward English and Comfort centers on Perique, Reverie splits the difference between English and aromatic in a way that tends to divide opinion cleanly along those same lines. The base is black Cavendish and cube cut Burley, with soft contributions from Perique, Latakia, and Turkish providing nuance rather than structure. A hazelnut topping is applied sparingly, present enough to register in the tin note and the room note without pulling the blend fully into aromatic territory. The natural tobacco character of the Burley and the English components remains the dominant experience for most of the bowl. It is a mild to medium smoke designed for accessibility rather than intensity, and it occupies the same all day territory as the rest of the series. A reasonable entry point for aromatic smokers curious about English components, or English smokers who do not mind a light topping.
