The Punch Egg Roll XL is the supersized return of a cigar that earned its following the honest way: it was good enough that people kept asking for more. The original Egg Roll debuted in 2019 as part of Punch's ongoing series of food-themed limited releases, a lineage that includes Chop Suey, Kung Pow!, and Spring Roll. The XL keeps the same blend intact, a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder with fillers from Colombia, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and the United States, but bumps the size from a 4.5 x 50 to a full 6 x 60 Gigante, complete with the shaggy foot that became part of the original's identity. Rolled at General Cigar's HATSA factory in Danlí, Honduras, it arrives packaged in a Chinese takeout container as a nod to the 2026 Lunar New Year and the Year of the Horse. At under nine dollars a stick, it punches well above its price point and won't be around once the limited run is gone.
