La Flor Dominicana Cabinet Oscuro Natural comes from the period when Litto Gomez was shaping LFD into a serious Dominican brand with its own voice. The Cabinet series was meant to show what well aged Dominican tobacco could do when treated with patience and restraint. It carried a richer profile than most Dominican cigars of its time, but it wasn’t built to overpower. Instead, it highlighted the depth and character of the tobaccos Gomez was cultivating as he developed the identity that would eventually define LFD.
The blend uses Dominican filler and binder with a naturally dark, oily wrapper that gives the cigar its name. Cabinet Oscuro Natural has stayed in circulation for years because it represents an early chapter in LFD’s evolution, before the rise of the full strength Ligero lines. It shows the brand’s roots in careful fermentation, consistent construction, and the desire to push Dominican tobacco toward new expressions. For many smokers, it remains one of the blends that explains how LFD became the company it is today.

The Air Bender was named by founder Litto Gomez after his love of kung fu films, and the blend lives up to the reference. The core blend is estate-grown Dominican binder and filler from LFD's La Canela farm, with the filler incorporating Piloto Cubano, Sumatra seed, and Corojo leaf. The Maduro version uses an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper rather than the natural Ecuadorian Habano of the original, which is darker, oilier, and adds an additional layer of depth to an already full-bodied blend. Rated 91 by Cigar Aficionado. Full in body. Made at La Flor Dominicana's factory in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
