Julius Caeser Newman immigrated from Hungary in 1888 chasing the American Dream, and the Brick House brand pays tribute to the house his family lived in back in that Hungarian village. Eric and Bobby Newman, the third generation to run the company, revived it with an all-Nicaraguan blend that earned Cigar Aficionado's Top 25 recognition four separate times, including a number ten ranking in 2024. The Maduro takes the same acclaimed filler blend and dresses it in a darker, spicier wrapper. The wrapper is Brazilian Arapiraca Maduro over a Nicaraguan binder, with Nicaraguan long-leaf filler. Multiple sizes. Medium to full in body. Made at J.C. Newman's PENSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua.
