Gran Habano's Persian King line stands apart from the rest of the brand's numbered Connecticut, Habano, and Corojo blends: it ships unbanded, packaged in classic 50-count cedar boxes, and built around a distinctive closed foot that changes the way each cigar opens. The Maduro version begins with a burst of raw Connecticut tobacco flavor from that foot accent before transitioning into the dark, oily Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper underneath, a small piece of theater built into the construction itself. The wrapper is Nicaraguan Maduro over Nicaraguan binder and filler, a full Nicaraguan puro apart from the Connecticut closed foot. Medium to full in body. Made at G.R.
