Gran Habano
By Gran Habano
The Connecticut Number One has been part of the Gran Habano catalog since the early 2000s, one of the longest running blends in a brand better known for bold Honduran-forward smokes. It was built as a direct answer to Macanudo and Ashton, a statement that a mild Connecticut cigar didn't have to be flavorless to be approachable, and the blend has held that reputation across an unusually wide range of sizes, from a 40 ring gauge lancero up to a 70 ring gauge gordo. The wrapper is Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade over Nicaraguan binder and long-leaf filler. Rated 90 by Cigar Aficionado. Eleven sizes. Mild to medium in body. Made at Gran Habano's factory in Danlí, Honduras.
