The Maduro is the bolder half of the Charter Oak line, built on the same tribute to Nicholas Melillo's Connecticut roots and his grandfather's love of Connecticut tobacco, but dressed in a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper rather than the shade leaf. Where the Shade leans creamy and mild, the Broadleaf brings more depth and spice while keeping the same everyday accessibility that defines the line. The wrapper is Connecticut Broadleaf over a Nicaraguan Habano binder, with long-leaf filler from Estelí and Jalapa in Nicaragua. Multiple sizes, 20-count boxes. Medium in body.
