King of the World VSOP

By El Rey Del Mundo

VSOP stands for Very Old Superior Pale, a term borrowed from the cognac world used to indicate aged product, and that framing is deliberate here. The cigars were rolled in 2021 and spent over four years resting in STG's aging room before release, a follow-up to the 2024 King of the World, which was a Honduran puro made at the Aladino factory. The VSOP takes a different direction, moving production to STG Estelí and changing the blend entirely. The wrapper is Ecuadorian Sumatra over a Nicaraguan Habano binder, with filler from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Single size, 6x52 toro, in 16-count boxes. Limited to 2,000 boxes. Medium to full in body. Made at STG Estelí in Nicaragua.
