Whiskey Row Bourbon

By Diesel

The Diesel Whiskey Row launched in June 2018 as the second brick and mortar Diesel release after the brand moved from catalog to retail the year prior. The concept came from a partnership with Rabbit Hole Distillery out of Louisville: spent bourbon barrels were shipped to A.J. Fernandez's factory in Estelí in 2016, and the Mexican San Andrés binder leaf was aged inside them using a process Fernandez developed specifically for the project. The barrel aging adds character to the blend without turning the cigar into an infused product. The wrapper is Ecuadorian Habano, aged five years. The binder is Mexican San Andrés, bourbon barrel aged. The filler is a three-region Nicaraguan blend from Ometepe, Jalapa, and Condega, aged five to eight years. Four sizes, 25-count boxes. Medium to full in body. Made at Tabacalera A.J. Fernandez in Estelí, Nicaragua.
