The concept behind the Vintage Maduro is straightforward: take the Diesel formula of bold Nicaraguan tobacco and build it around aged leaf. The filler is Nicaraguan Habano from Jalapa, aged between five and eight years before rolling, which gives the blend a depth that typically costs more to achieve. The binder is Nicaraguan Habano from Estelí, and the wrapper is Mexican San Andrés. A collaboration between A.J. Fernandez and Justin Andrews, as with the rest of the Diesel line. Five sizes, 20-count boxes. Medium to full in body. Made at Tabacalera A.J. Fernandez in Estelí, Nicaragua.
