Dominicana

By Deadwood

The Dominicana is the newest entry in the Deadwood lineup and the most distinct from its sisters. Where the rest of the line is built around Nicaraguan tobacco and dark Maduro wrappers, the Dominicana takes the opposite approach: an Ecuadorian Connecticut shade wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder, with Dominican long-leaf filler sourced from José Mendez & Co. It is the first Drew Estate cigar made in Nicaragua to focus primarily on Dominican tobacco, and the mildest of the Deadwood blends by a considerable margin. Sweetened cap, four sizes. Mild to medium in body. Made at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Estelí, Nicaragua.
