Fasa Sombra

By CAO

Sombra is the Spanish word for shade, and in Ecuador that shade comes naturally. The country's persistent cloud cover filters sunlight before it reaches the tobacco plants, producing a lighter, more refined wrapper leaf without the artificial tenting used elsewhere. CAO built the Sombra around that leaf to complete the FASA trilogy, pairing the Ecuadorian Connecticut shade-grown wrapper with the same Cameroon binder and filler of Dominican Piloto Cubano and Nicaraguan leaf from Jalapa, Estelí, and Condega used throughout the line. With the Sol made in Honduras, the Noche in Nicaragua, and the Sombra in the Dominican Republic, each entry in the trilogy also comes from a different factory and country of production. Released in 2025. Available in two sizes in 24-count boxes. Mild to medium in body. Made at the General Cigar Dominicana factory in the Dominican Republic.
