Rosado Sungrown Vitola 52

The Rosado Sungrown Magnum R line was introduced in 2009 using Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper leaf drawn from the lower primings of the plant and aged for nearly a decade, a wrapper Carlos Fuente Jr. had been holding in reserve from earlier production. The Vitola 52 is a Robusto at 5 x 52, and unlike the Vitola 44, the number here does refer to the ring gauge. It is the original size of the line, one of four proportions released at launch and the one that established the Magnum R's reputation for delivering full flavor from a medium strength smoke. Aged Dominican binder and filler. Handmade in the Dominican Republic.
